Venus, the planet of love, went retrograde on March 6th and stays that way until April 17th. When a planet goes retrograde it basically means an inward journey for us…so, how do I feel this is playing out..?

Venus retrograde will give us an opportunity to re-assess our life. To have a look at what we value and what we need to let go of.

Sometimes love affairs happen during a Venus retrograde but they are often short-lived as we ‘wake-up’ and take off the ‘rose-coloured glasses’ when she begins to move forwards once more.

This is a good time to question what is important to you. What do you love and what do you tolerate?

It is also a great time to look deeper into your relationships, to really see what is going on and to take small steps to do something about it.

This is not a good time to redecorate your home as choices made now may also be short-lived and once we take off the ‘rose-coloured’ glasses we may find we have issues with the green, flowery wall paper that we just had to have during the retrograde cycle.

As it is a good time to look at your relationship – ask yourself: what do you want from it, what do you value, what is important? And then wait until the cycle is finished (April 14th) to implement some changes.

Keep in mind the light of venus will be shining brightly into all of the dark corners of our hearts and so you may find you have ’skeletons’ you have forgotten about that suddenly get some attention during this time.

It isn’t a good time to commit to any new business relationships or dealings as anything to do with the material plane will be affected during this transit.

Venus retrograde will shed light on issues that need attention – so pay attention and let the planet help you resolve that which needs to be resolved. 

Julianne’s note: I found writing the newsletter, and indeed this article, terribly challenging during this time. It was as if words escaped me and the message didn’t flow at all. I am normally a fluent and expressive writer, however I have found my whole writing journey has been stop, start, stop, start until it was done. I put this down to the energy of Venus retrograde, it creates an opportunity to really get to the essence of things and not just skim the surface. Words don’t flow. Messages aren’t as clear. To be honest…it’s been kinda like pulling teeth (of which I am not good at!!!)
