We are all being bombarded with information about Swine Flu and here in Australia, they are even starting to shut down schools as a result.
People, gorgeous people…do your research. Make up your own mind and don’t be sucked in by what the media is trying desperately to get you to believe.

This is NOT the First Swine Flu Panic
My guess is that you can expect to see a lot of panic over this issue in the near future. But the key is to remain calm — this isn’t the first time the public has been warned about swine flu. The last time was in 1976, right before I entered medical school and I remember it very clearly. It resulted in the massive swine flu vaccine campaign.
Do you happen to recall the result of this massive campaign?
Within a few months, claims totaling $1.3 billion had been filed by victims who had suffered paralysis from the vaccine. The vaccine was also blamed for 25 deaths.
However, several hundred people developed crippling Guillain-Barré Syndrome after they were injected with the swine flu vaccine. Even healthy 20-year-olds ended up as paraplegics.
And the swine flu pandemic itself? It never materialized.
More People Died From the Swine Flu Vaccine than Swine Flu!
It is very difficult to forecast a pandemic, and a rash response can be extremely damaging.
To put things into perspective, malaria kills 3,000 people EVERY DAY, and it’s considered “a health problem”… But of course, there are no fancy vaccines for malaria that can rake in billions of dollars in a short amount of time.
One Australian news source, for example, states that even a mild swine flu epidemic could lead to the deaths of 1.4 million people and would reduce economic growth by nearly $5 trillion dollars.
Give me a break, if this doesn’t sound like the outlandish cries of the pandemic bird-flu I don’t know what does. Do you remember when President Bush said two million Americans would die as a result of the bird flu?
In 2005, in 2006, 2007, and again in 2008, those fears were exposed as little more than a cruel hoax, designed to instill fear, and line the pocketbooks of various individuals and industry. I became so convinced by the evidence AGAINST the possibility of a bird flu pandemic that I wrote a New York Times bestselling book, The Bird Flu Hoax, all about the massive fraud involved with the epidemic that never happened.
What is the Swine Flu?
Regular swine flu is a contagious respiratory disease, caused by a type-A influenza virus that affects pigs. The current strain, A(H1N1), is a new variation of an H1N1 virus — which causes seasonal flu outbreaks in humans — that also contains genetic material of bird and pig versions of the flu.
Symptoms include:
- Fever of more than 100
- Coughing
- Runny nose and/or sore throat
- Joint aches
- Severe headache
- Vomiting and/or diarrhea
- Lethargy
- Lack of appetite
Interestingly enough, this version has never before been seen in neither human nor animal, which I will discuss a bit later.
This does sound bad. But not so fast. There are a few reasons to not rush to conclusions that this is the deadly pandemic we’ve been told would occur in the near future (as if anyone could predict it without having some sort of inside knowledge).
Swine Flu is a WEAK Virus
It is important to note that nearly all suspected new cases have been reported as mild. Preliminary scientific evidence is also pointing out that this virus is NOT as potent as initially thought.
Wired Magazine reported on May 4 that Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory computer scientists did not find similarities between swine flu and historical strains that spread widely, with catastrophic effect. Their findings are based on just one complete sample and several fragmentary samples of swine flu, but fit with two other early analyses.
Personally, I am highly skeptical. It simply doesn’t add up to a real pandemic.
But it does raise serious questions about where this brand new, never before seen virus came from, especially since it cannot be contracted from eating pork products, and has never before been seen in pigs, and contains traits from the bird flu — and which, so far, only seems to respond to Tamiflu. Are we just that lucky, or… what?
Your Fear Will Make Some People VERY Rich in Today’s Crumbling Economy
Tamiflu (oseltamivir phosphate) is approved for treatment of uncomplicated influenza A and B in children 1 year of age or older. It is also approved for prevention of influenza in people 13 years or older. It’s part of a group of anti-influenza drugs called neuraminidase inhibitors, which work by blocking a viral enzyme that helps the influenza virus to invade cells in your respiratory tract.
According to the Associated Press at least one financial analyst estimates up to $388 million worth of Tamiflu sales in the near future — and that’s without a pandemic outbreak.
More than half a dozen pharmaceutical companies, including Gilead Sciences Inc., Roche, GlaxoSmithKline and other companies with a stake in flu treatments and detection, have seen a rise in their shares in a matter of days, and will likely see revenue boosts if the swine flu outbreak continues to spread.
Swine flue is extremely convenient for governments that would have very soon have to dispose of billions of dollars of Tamiflu stock, which they bought to counter avian flu, or H5N1. The US government ordered 20 million doses, costing $2 billion, in October, 2005, and around that time the UK government ordered 14.6 million doses. Tamiflu’s manufacturer, Roche, has confirmed that the shelf life of its anti-viral is three years.
As soon as Homeland Security declared a health emergency, 25 percent — about 12 million doses — of Tamiflu and Relenza treatment courses were released from the nation’s stockpile. However, beware that the declaration also allows unapproved tests and drugs to be administered to children. Many health- and government officials are more than willing to take that chance with your life, and the life of your child. But are you?
Tamiflu Loaded With Side Effects, Including Death and Can Only Reduce Symptoms by 36 Hours at BEST
Please realize that Tamiflu is NOT a safe drug Serious side effects include convulsions, delirium or delusions, and 14 deaths in children and teens as a result of neuropsychiatric problems and brain infections Japan actually banned Tamiflu for children in 2007.
Remember, Tamiflu went through some rough times not too long ago, as the dangers of this drug came to light when, in 2007, the FDA finally began investigating some 1,800 adverse event reports related to the drug.
Additionally common side effects of Tamiflu include:
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Headache
- Dizziness
- Fatigue
- Cough
All in all, the very symptoms you’re trying to avoid.
Additionally, Tamiflu has been reported to be ineffective against seasonal flu outbreaks, and may not be sufficient to combat an epidemic or pandemic.
But making matters worse, some patients with influenza are at HIGHER risk for secondary bacterial infections when on Tamiflu. And secondary bacterial infections, as I mentioned earlier, was likely the REAL cause of the mass fatalities during the 1918 pandemic!
But here’s the real kicker.
When Tamiflu is used as directed (twice daily for 5 days) it can ONLY reduce the duration of your influenza symptoms by 1 to 1 ½ days, according to the official data.
Why on earth would anyone want to take a drug that has a chance of killing you, was banned in Japan, is loaded with side effects that mimic the flu itself, costs over $100, and AT BEST can only provide 36 hours of SYMPTOM relief. Just doesn’t make any sense.
Please recognize that there is serious revenue in Tamiflu. The Financial Times reports that governments around the world have previously stockpiled 220 million doses in preparation for a pandemic that has yet to appear. The cost of this preparation is $7 billion dollars.

I think, sometimes, we can all be found guilty of not listening to our inner voice – and I think that is the key here – one person can have the vaccination and not have any problems – another, with a little ‘twinkling’ of doubt has it and has all sorts of ‘challenges’. This shows us that the inner voice is merely acting as a guide to say “hey, maybe this isn’t the ‘right’ thing for you at this time”.
We have so many wonderful ‘alternatives’ at our disposal now so it’s great when our inner voice says “hey, this isn’t right for you” – we can jump online, do some research and find something that is – fully knowing that we will be looked after by our own inner guidance.

WOW is all I can say… I have had the h1n1 shot and since then (4weeks ago) I have been very unwell.. I was told that it was a small viral reaction from the needle that has developed into a bad bacterial infection in my throat, nose, ears and chest…. I have not been able to do anything because I am so SICK every part of my body aches. My kids on the other hand have had the 2 doses a mnth apart and have been OK. I will personally never have this again I just wish I had followed my gut!

I have willingly been injected
After reading all the articles I am very concerned. My dad had the swine flu vaccination last year and really hasn’t been himself since then. He has just been diagnosed with primary liver cancer in which he was told the tumor has been there for many years with no effects. Since having the shot the tumour has grown and is doing horrible things to him. I wonder if the vaccination stirred it up.. ????

We had a note come home from the high school too. Was going to get all of us vaccined but not after reading this site (and others). Big doses of vitamins I think instead for a relatively healthy family. Hope I don’t regret it. But you just don’t know do you.
My 5 year son was sent home with a notice on Friday saying that there is a Free Clinic on Saturday at the local high school for swine flu shot.
notice was sent home with not even a day to think about what you are going to do.
No web site or side effects on notice.
Feel like we are being pushed into, like cattle.
Not going to do it.

An interesting point is in regards to ‘vaccines’… while it may be a money maker to pharma companies. In most western worlds the ‘vaccine’ cost NOTHING to the public. As such the cost to the average citizen is not a reality and therefore with such a theory need to look at the ‘agenda’; if there is even one?
After 7 years of saving I am finally taking my family overseas for a white Christmas. I had no intentions of getting the swine flu vaccine as all reports have told us that it’s really only certain groups of people at real risk. As my family are all healthy I didn’t think it necessary. After constant nagging from my mother and my in laws I couldn’t stand it anymore and thought if we go and get vaccinated they will leave us alone. On the morning of the 8th December I got my shot. By the afternoon of 9th I was suffering pretty bad headaches. By 10th I could barely work. Today (12th) I can assure you I have swine flu. I am suffering from all the side effects they have reported and am now feeling a burning sensation on my lips, nose and is heading up to my eyes like I’ve rubbed myself with chilli. I have a week to get over this or I may have to cancel my holiday and blow my $30,000 inheritance on a bunch of hype. If you are generally healthy, don’t do it, even if it is free. We pay for it with our taxes anyway don’t we?
My GP strongly suggested that I get the swine flu vaccine, as well as an MMR booster shot, as I’ll be starting IVF treatment in a month. I didn’t really think anything of it, and signed the consent form after being told that there were minimal side effects. Within seconds of receiving the shot I felt extremely dizzy, nauseous, severe hot and cold flushes, and difficulty breathing. The GP said i was only experiencing a panic attack. I ended up staying at the clinic for 3 hours until my partner came and picked me up. The doctor told him that these reactions were common (different than what he told me), and that he’s often seen people ‘fitting’ on the ground due to the reaction, and that it was quite normal. Anyhow, these severe reactions continued at home through out the night. In the days that followed, I’m still experiencing the same things after eating, after doing anything physical, when hearing certain sounds/high/low noises. I went back to the doctors (same clinic different doctor) today, a week later exactly, just to have the doctor type away on his computer and tell me that i was fine, not to worry, that I was only having a panic attack. He then prescribed stematil, but didn’t tell me what it was for.
I guess what I’m asking is, has anyone else had a long lasting reaction similar to mine? I’m quite concerned that it’s been so long, and the reactions have not gotten any better, only slightly less frequent. (Read instead of it being constant waves one after the other, now I have waves about 15-20 minutes apart. Even when I’m trying to sleep)
Tell your dad to try apple cider vinegar with the mother apple in it (from health food store not the one you get from the supermarket as that one won’t work) in some water 3 time a day. An elderly relative of mine was suffering from that painful neuralgia and taking the apple cider vinegar relieved her symptoms considerably, so much so that she wrote me a letter to thank me for telling her about it. And as for comments regarding Dr Mercola, I believe that he has alerted people about many things that would otherwise not come to light through the general media and his site offers a lot of helpful information. It was information from his updates that enlightened me to have tests done which revealed the cause of a lot of my own health problems – tests which doctors over the last 15 years have not even bothered to run (despite all of the symptoms pointing to the need to have the tests run) and which would have seen me on the path to recovery a lot sooner!! I say hats off to Dr Mercola.

My dad and at least 4 people he knows have had the swine flu vaccine and then gotten the shingles. His doctor even confirmed he got it from the vaccine! Dad now had the Postherptic neuralgia with pain so bad he has had to put a towel in his mouth to hide his screaming from the neighbours and family. He beggs, please do not have this vaccine!
Dr Mercola has lots of data but it is all goship and chinise whispers. Where are the references to his claims where is the controled analysis of the data and the statistics to make it believable?

think that the response by greg, is a bit- far fetched. While i personally think the population being cut by 80% would be a good thing, it is ridiculous to think that a pharmaceutical company that relies on profits would be interested in following that principle.
You recommend an article because it was written by a doctor “yes a doctor”. I find this highly cynical as a lot of doctors are involved in hysterical scams themselves. I have not a lot of faith in doctors alone. It takes more than “a doctor” to convince me. I can’t read the article you point to because I have to register to read it – therefore it’s not free like they claim. They are after my email for their database and I’m not offering it. It is in fact YOUR article that comes across as hysterical, not the Swine Flu issues. Most people I know have a balanced view of the situation. I know of all the issues with vaccinations and a lot of what you read is very biased on both sides. I hope you find some peace in yourself when your suggestions find people at risk who deny themselves a vaccine only to get the flu (of any kind) and suffer the consequences. ALternatives to mainstream products and alternative medicines come with just as much risk. I find both sides to be more concerned with their profile than actual health.
You have to question if the reason you have a weak immune system is because you have a vaccination each year. Vaccines do not offer long term immunity that is why you have to take shots every year.
FACTS: As of October 11, 2009 the World Health Organisation reported there has been 4,735 confirmed deaths due to H1N1 in the ENTIRE world!
Most all of these deaths occurred in immunocompromised individuals.

There have already been comfirmed deaths from swine flu of people with compromised immune systems caused by chemotherapy and radiotherapy for cancer as well as a ever increasin population of people suffering Rheumatoid arthritis like myself. I have had the swine flu vaccine and apart from a runny nose (not even comfirmed to be as a result of my vacination) I have had no side effects, not even soreness around the area I was injected with.
I would recommend that anyone suffering from a compromised immune system to get the vaccine as even with a few days of side effects its better than getting the flu itself. At least with injections you build up a resistance to the flu. My work pays for flu vaccine injections to all staff ( well over 2000) and in all the years it has been implememted I have not once experience the flu even with my weakened immune system. Why has this article not mentioned the comfirmed deaths from swine flu to date with deaths in most states of Australia.

Although you make some good points, the vaccine is necessary for people like myself with pre existing medical conditions that comprimises our immune system, I am at a high risk group, even a simple cold landed me in hopital last year with complications, because of the swine flue I dont get out as much as I used to because I know if I contract it my chances of surviving it is minimal due my health condition. So now that the vaccines out should I not have it because of the side efefcts you mentioned from 1976 ?
Has anyone heard of any protests being organised? Its really time we took to the streets!

your absolutely right about the vaccine being loaded with side effects. some of the biggest pharma companies in the world were caught in the mid 1990’s putting aids viruses and cancer viruses in vaccinations. they were produced by bayer pharmaceuticals and were being distributed through out central africa and asia via the united nations and the world health organisation, both institutions which have OPENLY called for a world wide population reduction of 80% of the human population of the planet. it seems our organization in Melb has seen the most patients of the all the fever clinics in Melb approx 100 patients/day. Only 2 patients swabbed out of approx 1000 were H1N1 +ve. DHS refused to swab me as it was >48hrs post my illness and the Tamiflu was not offered (which I’m glad of) because DHS last week it was stated Tamiflu is not used prophylactically! Yet now we are giving antivirals to close contacts who do not have any symptoms at all!! Is the H1N1 swab simply for the 2009 influenza A virus? if so, why are we treating it with antivirals when it is mild in effect and we have never treated the flu with antivirals before

What a great stimulus package for Rudd plus pharmaceutical companies get to launch another drug with many notable adverse effects on the general population. I’m sticking to my high doses of garlic, ginger, chilli, fluids, sleep and staying away from work for a while as it is a infectious health hazard (respiratory illness on mass!) Hopefully pigmania will be over soon & at least my immune system is ready for winter bugs, Byndie

Hello, I work in one of the fever clinics in Australia. We now have 500 cases and have just stopped swabbing but releasing tamiflu to at risk groups within 48hrs of illness. I find your articl very interesting as am a nurse practitioner and studying naturopathy and I was happy not to be offered tamiflu even though I my flu symptoms began 6 days ago. I continue to have a moderate occipital headache and bone/pain but I think my body is clearing it. Do you have any articles that support the comments you have made? regards Byndie
As far as I have seen reported, the swine flu is somewhat less severe than the seasonal flu.
Tens of thousands of folks die from the seasonal flu every year in the USA and it’s not clear that the swine flu can kill you any more that the seasonal one. For both seasonal and swine flu, the deaths come from complications or other, underlying conditions (not the flu itself).
