The rule-maker planet ‘Saturn’ has been in Virgo for the past two years and is about to move into ‘peacemaking’ Libra on October 29th 2009.

So, what does this mean?

Well, for those with the sun in Virgo or like me, have Virgo heavily aspected in your chart - probably a relief!

Virgo is all about perfection and the inner critic, so with Saturn sitting in this sign for the past two years it has given us the opportunity to take on more responsibility, get more work done, improve our health, and build something long-lasting in our world. It might not have been an easy job though as Virgo is all about perfection and so we would have felt we had a ‘critical monkey’ riding us the whole time!

Now we get an opportunity to lighten up and enjoy Saturn in the beautiful sign of Libra. I feel it will give us a nudge to bring peace, harmony and joyful relationships into our world and to demand that of the world around us.

We get a wonderful opportunity to put energy towards peace, fairness, and a well balanced life for all.

Venus, the ruler of Libra, is also in Libra during this time. What this means is we might see more divorces and see relationships going by the wayside as Saturn gets us looking at our relationship through ’its cosmic microscope’ and it will help us uncover anything that isn’t working or is merely existing in the world.

However, Saturn always brings in beautiful blessings after it has given us a ’shake’ so if you find yourself on the receiving end, or instigating, a divorce, break-up or moving away during this time – take a breath and know that ‘this or something better’ is now making its way to you.

All in all I feel Saturn moving into Libra will enhance the community at large. It will give us the energy required to do what needs to be done in order to bring peace into our hearts and then, in turn, to the world!

Enjoy the shifting gears as Saturn takes us on a journey into Libra on October 29th 2009 and then back into Virgo on 6th April 2010, for an intense moment, before settling once more in Libra on July 7th 2010, where it will remain until October 5th 2012.
